Flying Circus - The Spice of Flight
A downloadable game
Variety is the Spice of Life and the theme for Spice of Flight, an unofficial expansion for the Flying Circus Roleplaying Game! This pack is focused entirely around giving players access to 20 new aircraft for their campaigns, all of which are based on historical aircraft designs ranging from obscure experiments in early military aviation to those that took so long to perfect that the war was over by the time they finished development.
In addition to these twenty airplanes, it also features four new types of airships for DM’s to utilize in their campaigns as threats and set pieces.
Included in this total of 24 aircraft is…
- The Müller Ersatzdecker, a highly customizable post-war copy of a pre-war aircraft (Bleriot XIII)
- The Frohlich M.J2, a two-seat fighter mounting a large, forward facing hunting gun thanks to its odd outboard propellers (Mann & Grimmer M1)
- The Teicher Säbelzahn, a cheap biplane scout equipped with an engine-driven LMG (Sikorsky S.16)
- The Aszod K.1C, a strange fighter that seats its gunner in a tower superstructure mounted above the engine (Lloyd 40.05)
- The Kesselheym Kabinenflieger, a post-war scout that features a fully enclosed and heated cockpit (Avro Type F)
- The Sonnenjäger Kugelfisch, a armed racing plane that combines good agility and decent speed (Rumpler D.1)
- The Ritter Model Q, a last-ditch scout made to be as cheap and fast as possible (Sopwith Swallow)
- The Sumpfkönig Flugwerke K.20, a fast post-war triplane that saw service with the northern warlords (Aviatik 30.24)
- The Rathenau 10b, a solid tri-engine bomber that possesses a questionable rear gunners position (Caproni CA.3)
- The Braun Model PB(j), a scout that was weighed down by its responsibility as a bomber interceptor (Pfalz D.XII)
… plus 10 more planes and the aforementioned airships!
